Let General Dynamics Itronix "jump start" the deployment of your Rugged Notebooks by customizing them ahead of time to your exact requirements . Whether you need third - party integration, disk imaging services, or configuration, Itronix will help reduce the time required to get new equipment into the hands of your users-AND give you a single point of accountability. GD Itronix's expert deployment team will work with vendors to install and configure all equipment, facilitate ESN and wireless LAN activation, maintain a master disk image for future deployment or service needs, and deliver your fully-integrated systems to designated users or staging locations. General Dynamics Itronix can also help you implement an asset management process, reducing the costs and complexity of managing a large install base. It's the most efficient, consistent and cost-effective way to deploy your Rugged Notebooks on time and within budget.

To ensure that the software installed on your Rugged Notebooks is identical on every unit, GD Itronix specialists will assist in the development of your hard-drive images and maintain a master copy for future deployments or service needs. You'll reduce the high cost of internal image management, allow for efficient updates as new applications become available and gain greater consistency as units are deployed, re-loaded or serviced. Itronix will even maintain multiple images for your workforce, created for specific job duties, hardware or geographies.


Asset Management
The Asset Management system allows you to monitor all of your field-based assets. By tagging Itronix Notebooks when they are prepared for deployment -and entering all pertinent unit and user data into Itronix's Web-accessible database-the Asset Management system tracks and prints reports based on virtually any criteria. Identify which machines are being used by which employees. Monitor against theft and minimize equipment loss by tracking each unit. Plan for depreciation more efficiently. Upgrade an entire deployment, or identify specific machines with outdated operating systems or software versions.

Support Service Center
Anytime you make a call or inquiry to the iCare Service Center, the nature of the call and the steps taken to address or correct any reported problems are entered into our Online Service Analysis system. Updated nightly, you can then access this system via our password - protected Intranet to check current repair histories. View customized service charts, graphs and reports for clear, concise and measurable statistics on the repair histories of your Itronix Notebooks, including service incidents, repairs and dates. Also spot trends and other issues that compromise productivity, and take the necessary action to correct them.

Itronix Notebooks that are out-of-warranty can still be repaired by iCare Service Center. By calling 1-800-638-9270, Option 2 you will speak with a service specialist who will help determine the nature of your problem. If you decide to service your notebook, Itronix's repair center will fix them-usually within 48 hours-and return them to you via your chosen shipping method. If you decide not to repair the units, you will only be charged a diagnostic and return-shipping fee.


End-of-Life
General Dynamics Itronix covers your Rugged Notebooks throughout their entire life cycle.Their team will prepare your Rugged Notebooks for redeployment to company employees or for donation to charitable organizations. They will also clean your machines, perform diagnostic checks and conduct transactions should you elect to resell your Toughbooks. If you choose to dispose of your units, General Dynamics Itronix will irrevocably remove the data from all hard drives and dispose of the units in an environmentally - appropriate manner.
